Sunjay Kapur Death: Wife Priya Kapur Visits HERE Amid Legal Battle With Karisma Kapoor’s Kids – Pics Inside!

Priya Sachdev Kapur steps out for the first time since Sunjay Kapur’s death. She was seen at ACMA Annual Convention amid a legal dispute with Karisma Kapoor’s children over the late industrialist’s estate and will.

Priya Sachdev Kapur, widow of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, has made her first public appearance since her husband’s death. This comes amid a legal dispute over Sunjay’s estate, with his children from his first marriage to actor Karisma Kapoor questioning whether his will is genuine.

Sunjay Kapur’s Wife Priya Sachdev Attends Delhi Event

Priya attended the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) Annual Convention at the Taj Palace in Delhi on Friday. Photos of her at the event have now gone viral on social media. This marked her official entry into one of India’s leading industry forums. She has been inducted into ACMA’s Executive Committee for 2025-26 (a role effective from September 12).

Many say that her participation is an important step in officially taking forward Sunjay’s business legacy. At the ACMA convention, Priya attended as director of Aureus Investment (AIPL) and as non-executive director and chairperson of the CSR committee at Sona Comstar—positions her late husband once held. Sunjay Kapur had also served as chairperson of ACMA.

Her Legal Battle With Karisma Kapoor’s Kids

The legal fight over Sunjay’s estate has attracted attention in recent months. His children with Karisma Kapoor (Samaira and Kiaan) filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, claiming that Priya Sachdev presented a forged will to deny them their inheritance. Sunjay’s mother and sister have also raised questions about the will’s authenticity.

Karisma Kapoor is not a plaintiff but represents her children in court. Samaira and Kiaan allege that their late father had “repeatedly assured” them of a share in his estate, but it was missing in the final will. The will in question was presented by Priya at a family meeting on July 30, allegedly executed on March 21.

The Delhi High Court recently heard the petition and instructed Priya to list all of Sunjay Kapur’s movable and immovable assets. The next hearing is set for October 9. Sunjay Kapur (the founder and chairman of auto manufacturer Sona Comstar) passed away in London in June this year.
