The trailer of Tehran is finally here. It brings a mix of action, suspense, and serious politics. John Abraham plays a tough Delhi cop, Rajeev Kumar, who takes on a risky mission in another country. What makes his story intense is that he’s completely alone, and his country leaves him without support.

In this new role, John looks different from anything we’ve seen before. Rajeev is caught in chaos after a series of blasts. While the world blames others, he steps forward to uncover the truth. But this dangerous game of secrets and betrayal leaves him without any help from Iran, Israel, or even India.

What’s In Tehran Trailer?

The 2-minute and 39-second trailer starts with scenes of bombings, breaking news, and rising tensions. Rajeev is sent to Tehran by the Indian government to find answers. But once he lands, he realises he’s been left alone (no support, no help).

The trailer shows thrilling chases, secret missions, and emotional drama. Rajeev is described as “hunted by Iran, abandoned by Israel, and deserted by India.”

About This John Abraham Starrer

The story is based on the real 2012 bombing near the Israeli Embassy in Delhi. From that incident, the film creates a powerful fictional thriller. It shows how one man's mission can affect global politics.

The film is directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Maddock Films, Pacific Worldwide Films, Shobhna Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell. The cast also includes Neeru Bajwa, Manushi Chhillar, and Elnaaz Norouzi, who add more mystery and emotion to the story.

John Abraham looks fierce and focused. The poster shows him wounded but strong. The tagline- “Hunted by Iran. Abandoned by Israel. Deserted by India.” - perfectly sums up his lonely and brave fight.

Tehran Release Date

Tehran will release on ZEE5 on August 14, just a day before India’s Independence Day. That adds more meaning, as the film talks about sacrifice and loyalty to one’s country.

John was last seen in The Diplomat, another spy film. With Tehran, he returns in an even more intense and action-packed role.
