Tere Ishk Mein is holding its ground at the box office and showing a steady run even after the weekend rush. Despite mixed reviews, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer crossed the Rs 70 crore India-net milestone on Day 5, marking a strong first-week performance for the romantic drama.
According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, the film earned Rs. 10.25 crore on Day 5, pushing its total to Rs. 71 crore (India net) in five days.
Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Collection Day 5
The film opened with promising numbers on Friday and continued to grow with positive word-of-mouth. Tere Ishk Mein started well on Friday with Rs. 16 crore. It showed steady growth over the weekend. Day 2 collections rose to Rs. 17 crore, marking a 6.25% increase from the opening day. The momentum continued on Day 3, with earnings jumping to Rs. 19 crore, which is about a 11.7% rise compared to Day 2.
However, Monday brought the expected weekday dip. Day 4 dropped to Rs. 8.75 crore, reflecting a sharp 53.9% fall from Sunday’s peak. The film recovered slightly on Day 5, earning Rs. 10.25 crore, which is a 17% jump from Day 4. This small mid-week rise came from discounted ticket offers and strong evening occupancy.
| Day | India Net Collection |
|---|---|
| Day 1 (Friday) | Rs. 16 cr |
| Day 2 (Saturday) | Rs. 17 cr |
| Day 3 (Sunday) | Rs. 19 cr |
| Day 4 (Monday) | Rs. 8.75 cr |
| Day 5 (Tuesday) | Rs. 10.25 cr |
| Total (5 Days) | Rs. 71 cr nett |
The mid-week bump came from discounted ticket offers and decent evening occupancy, giving the film a small but important jump. This film is now among Dhanush’s top performers in the Hindi market and Dhanush’s first Bollywood HIT that will reach Rs 100 cr.
The film’s five-day total already puts it ahead of several recent titles. Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which recorded a lifetime India net of Rs. 61.85 crore, has now been overtaken by Tere Ishk Mein in less than a week.
However, the race is tighter when compared with Kuberaa, Dhanush’s earlier 2025 release. Sacnilk lists Kuberaa’s India net at around Rs. 90.9 crore, which means Tere Ishk Mein still has ground to cover before surpassing it.
So far, the film has definitely strengthened its position in the 2025 box-office race. It has crossed one major benchmark but continues to trail its closest competitor in Dhanush’s own slate.
Can It Hit Rs 100 Crore Before Dhurandhar Arrives?
Ranveer Singh’s action entertainer Dhurandhar is scheduled for release on December 5, 2025. This has become a key marker for Tere Ishk Mein. The film now has only two more weekdays (Dec 3 and 4) before a major new release takes over screens and audience attention.
Total (Day 5): Rs. 71 crore
Needed to hit Rs. 100 crore: Rs. 29 crore
Required per day (next two days): Roughly Rs. 14.5 crore
This looks ambitious for weekdays, especially after the initial weekend surge. Weekday drops are normal, and even with a healthy Tuesday, maintaining that pace is tough.
If the weekday trend follows the usual pattern, the film may add around Rs. 8–11 crore per day. It will fall short of Rs. 100 crore before December 5 and will need the next weekend to cross the milestone.
Therefore, crossing Rs. 100 crore before Dhurandhar hits theatres is unlikely.
Arrival of Dhurandhar is a bigger challenge for the film, and it will have to fight for survival. It is positioned as a major Ranveer Singh event film, and early coverage suggests strong anticipation. Once it releases, screens and shows for Tere Ishk Mein will naturally shrink.
