The much-awaited trailer of Tere Ishk Mein dropped last night with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon as leads. This film is directed by Aanand L Rai and marks his third collaboration with Dhanush after Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. Known for mixing romance with strong emotions, Rai promises a darker and more thrilling story this time, filled with passion, revenge and chaos.

The trailer introduces Shiv (played by Dhanush), a complex man whose actions are unpredictable. Kriti Sanon plays Mukti, a woman caught in his turbulent world. The story begins with Shiv as a Flight Lieutenant. Mukti confronts him about his aggressive behaviour. Flashbacks show their college days, where a fight sparks the beginning of their romance after Mukti steps in.
Some scenes are playful and flirty, but tension quickly rises. Shiv warns Mukti that falling in love with him is dangerous, claiming his love could “burn down the city of Delhi.” Mukti tries to calm him, but the trailer shows that Shiv’s passion is uncontrollable. Fans are already guessing how the film will end. Many think it will be tragic, just like Raanjhanaa. On Reddit, one user wrote, “Mukti means salvation. The pun of her name has been highlighted many times in the film’s assets. These two will reunite in death most probably. It’s definitely going to have a tragic ending.”

Tere Ishk Mein will release in theatres on November 28. This is Dhanush and Kriti’s first film together. Dhanush is also working on D54 (directed by Vignesh Raja), which started shooting in July. The pooja ceremony was attended by Asuran director Vetrimaaran. Kriti will also appear in Cocktail 2, which is set to release next year.
