About The Film

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is reportedly the most expensive MHCU film so far, with a budget of over Rs 100 crore. The movie was filmed across Delhi, Mumbai, and the Nilgiri hills in Ooty. Some sets were made to resemble Delhi’s architecture and graveyards. The soundtrack, composed by Sachin-Jigar, adds emotion and depth to the supernatural story.

While some viewers criticised the pacing and screenplay, many appreciated the performances, chemistry and music. The post-credit scene has created excitement. It reportedly features Aneet Padda as Shakti Shalini and hints at the next MHCU film. Shakti Shalini is scheduled to release in December 2026. Fans are curious to see how it will connect to Thamma and the rest of the universe.

Overall, Thamma has divided audiences. Its mix of romance, horror, and supernatural drama entertains some viewers, while others feel it does not match the impact of previous MHCU films.
