About Thamma: Plot, Cast, Release Date And More

Thamma is a romantic horror-comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. The film will release on October 21, 2025, during Diwali. It is the fifth film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), following hits like Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya.

The story follows Alok Goyal (Ayushmann Khurrana), who uncovers an old legend about Yakshasan, a supernatural being played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. As Alok explores this tale, he undergoes strange transformations, including vampire-like traits. Rashmika Mandanna plays Tadaka, a mysterious character connected to Alok, adding intrigue and drama.

The film also stars Paresh Rawal as Alok’s father, Ram Bajaj Goyal, and Suniel Shetty in an important role. Varun Dhawan makes a cameo, reprising his role as Bhediya. This adds an exciting crossover for fans of the MHCU.
