Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma released on 21 October and started on a high. The film earned Rs 24 crore on its opening day and kept up momentum in its first week. According to early estimates, the film made Rs 2.72 crore on Wednesday, taking its total to Rs 104.07 crore net in India.
It crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on Day 8 after earning Rs 5.75 crore on Tuesday and Rs 4.3 crore on Monday. With Rs 95.6 crore collected in its first week, Thamma remains a strong choice for moviegoers. The small dip on Day 9 reflects a regular weekday slowdown, and the film continues to perform well overall.

About Thamma And Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
Thamma expands the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok Goyal, a journalist who turns into a “betal” after a supernatural encounter. Tadaka (played by Rashmika Mandanna) saves him and brings him into a mystical world where betals protect humanity. Their forbidden love faces danger from Yakshasan, a powerful ancient betal.
