Rajat Dalal was seen as one of the strongest contestants on The 50. After his appearance on Bigg Boss 18, the fitness influencer had strong fan support even before the show began. However, just days ahead of the premiere, reports claimed that Rajat may have exited the show early due to a serious injury.
The 50 is set to premiere on February 1. The reality show features 50 celebrity contestants living inside a grand palace for 26 days. Rajat Dalal was officially confirmed as part of the line-up, along with Karan Patel, Divya Agarwal, Nikki Tamboli and Urvashi Dholakia. Shooting began last week, but rumours started after reports suggested that one contestant had to leave for medical reasons.
Rajat Dalal Injury On The 50
According to reports, Rajat Dalal got injured during a high-intensity physical task on the show. The task required strong upper-body effort. Midway through the challenge, Rajat reportedly stopped and held his arm, prompting the medical team to step in immediately.
He was taken to the hospital for scans, which reportedly showed a severe triceps tear. Doctors advised him to rest, saying recovery could take several weeks. Following this, Rajat was allegedly asked to step away from the competition. So far, neither the makers nor Rajat Dalal have issued an official statement.
However, fresh reports suggest a possible turnaround. Sources claim that Rajat has returned to the show after receiving medical clearance post-hospitalisation. There is still no confirmation, and the truth will likely be revealed once the episodes start airing.
3 Major Fights Already Inside Lion’s Palace
Even before its TV debut, The 50 has been grabbing attention for the drama inside the palace. Sources claim that three major fights have already taken place within the first three days of filming.
DON'T MISS
On Day 1, Karan Patel reportedly got into a heated argument with another contestant during the Arena Task. Day 2 saw a clash between Digvijay Rathee and Rajat Dalal, which allegedly happened inside the house and not during a task. On Day 3, Adnan Shaikh and Monalisa were involved in a fight during the Arena Task after a comment by Adnan upset Monalisa.
Earlier, there were also rumours that Lovekesh Kataria became the first contestant to be eliminated. If Rajat Dalal did exit, even briefly, it would mark another big shake-up before the show has even premiered.
The 50 follows a unique format where ten captains lead teams of five members each. Tasks come with changing rules, and losing teams face elimination decided by the winners. A mysterious figure known as the Lion oversees the game. Viewers can also take part in a fan contest, with Rs 50 lakh up for grabs by correctly predicting the winner.
For now, Rajat Dalal’s status on The 50 remains uncertain. Fans are waiting for official confirmation or his appearance in the premiere episode to clear the air. It is set to air on Colors TV and JioHotstar from Feb 1, 2026.
