Actor Ranveer Singh has dropped the teaser of his upcoming Colors show The Big Picture, just hours after announcing his small screen debut.
In the teaser, the actor can be heard describing the format of what sounds like a unique quiz show. The actor also talks about various characters that he has played in the films – from Bittoo of Band Baaja Baaraat to Khilji of Padmaavat to Varun of Lootera. He then says that the contestants will have to face questions in the form of picture and their answers will help them win crores.
The premiere date of the show is yet to be announced but the teaser has surely delighted the fans of the actor who haven’t seen him on screen since his 2019 film Gully Boy.
Ranveer expressed his excitement about his television debut in a statement. “In my journey as an artiste, the urge to experiment and explore has been constant. Indian cinema has undeniably given me everything – it’s been a platform for me to excel and showcase my skills as an actor and I have been fortunate to get immense love from the people of India. Now, I look to connect with them in an extremely unique and engaging way through my television debut with Colors’ The Big Picture,” he said.
Meanwhile, the actor also has a series of films that are yet to be released in his pipeline. He has ’83, Sooryavanshi and Jayeshbai Jordaar ready for release. He will also be seen in Cirkus and Anniyan remake.
