The Great Indian Family Trailer: The trailer for Vicky Kaushal‘s upcoming film, The Great Indian Family, has finally been out. Yash Raj Films released the teaser for the family drama written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya on Tuesday. The film, which also stars Manushi Chillar, will be released on September 22nd.
About the Family Drama Trailer
The teaser opens in a little village called Balarampur, where Vicky Kaushal‘s character, Bhajan Kumar, first appears. He begins by singing Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aja and introduces himself as Ved Vyas Tripathi. He describes his family, who are members of the Pandit group and have resided in Balarampur for centuries. Still, he says that his main problem was that he couldn’t find someone to date since females would come to his feet to ask for blessings.
Vicky attempts to make a good impression on Manushi Chillar’s character when she arrives in his village. With things going nicely from here on out, Bhajan Kumar interrupts and warns that even God’s sense of humor is too dangerous to be taken for granted.
He is taken aback when he reads a letter implying that he is a Muslim. Problems and misunderstandings soon surround him, and Bhajan Kumar is forced to go against his family to defend his position. Although nothing further is disclosed in the clip, the slogan states, ‘the biggest misunderstanding of the year.’
