The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 aired a star-studded latest episode on July 12, 2025, featuring OTT favourites Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar. But the real surprise came when global K-pop star Jackson Wang made an unexpected appearance.

His energy, dance moves, and humour lit up the stage. He was also seen performing alongside Kapil in the episode. However, his comment about not returning to India left fans both amused and concerned.

Jackson, who is in India to promote his new album MAGICMAN 2, joined Kapil and the guests in dancing bhangra and entertaining the audience.

This was his second trip to India, but things didn’t go as he had hoped, especially during his visits to local clubs where no one recognised him.

During their chat, Kapil Sharma praised Jackson Wang for his growing popularity in India. But the singer responded with dry humour. When asked if he felt the love, he replied, “Never.” He explained that even when people asked for autographs, it was “always for a friend.”

Trying to cheer him, Kapil asked the audience who all were Jackson's fans and everyone raised their hands. Jackson replied jokingly, “Very good actors,” making everyone laugh. At the end, he said, “Maybe this is my last visit to India. I am so sad.”

While most fans knew he was joking, some worried that he felt underappreciated.

What He Said About Disha Patani Link-Up On The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3

Kapil also brought up Jackson’s rumoured link with Bollywood actress Disha Patani. The two were seen together during his last trip. But Jackson shut down the gossip, saying, “We’re only friends.” In recent interviews, he’s made it clear that he isn’t dating anyone and is fully focused on his career.

This is Jackson’s second visit to India after his 2023 performance at Lollapalooza. That time, he won hearts by exploring Mumbai like a local. Earlier this year, he also collaborated with Diljit Dosanjh on the hit track Buck.

From his early days with GOT7 to launching solo hits like 100 Ways, Blow, and LMLY under his label Team Wang, Jackson Wang continues to connect with fans across the globe.
