The Great Indian Kapil Show came back this week with another episode full of fun, laughter, and star moments. For the first time, Telugu stars Teja Sajja, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, and Jagapathi Babu appeared as guests on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix talk show.
The episode had light conversations, playful comedy, and funny games. Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda also joined in, adding more humour. Even though there were language barriers, the South stars connected well with Kapil and kept everyone entertained.
Teja Sajja Recalls Wardrobe Mishap On The Great Indian Kapil Show
One of the funniest moments of the show came when Teja Sajja shared a wardrobe issue he faced during the promotions of HanuMan. The topic started when Kapil spoke about the difficulties of working in period films. He joked about wearing costumes, carrying heavy weapons, or even the fear of a dhoti slipping while riding a horse.
Kapil then asked if Teja had ever gone through something like that. The actor replied that it did not happen on a film set but at an event. He said, “Film mein nahi lekin events pe hua hai” and explained how a transparent kurta and slightly low pants created a funny situation for him.
He added with laughter, “Mera Hanu-Man ka pre-release event tha… woh kurta transparent nikla… meri pants thodi niche thi… poora speech jab main de raha tha… baahar aane ke baad pictures mein dekha ki thoda andar se upar aake transparent tha. Woh hua hai mere saath.” The story left Kapil, the cast, and the audience in splits as Teja even enacted the moment.
Romance Is The ‘Riskiest Stunt’ For Mirai Actor
The conversation turned even more fun when Kapil asked Teja about the riskiest stunt of his career. Fans expected him to mention action or superhero scenes. Instead, Teja gave a surprising answer and said, “Romance.”
Kapil burst out laughing and agreed with the idea, adding that romance on screen can indeed feel like the toughest stunt to perform.
Meanwhile, Teja Sajja is enjoying a strong run at the box office. His latest superhero film, Mirai (with Manoj Manchu as the villain), has opened with an amazing response in theatres. In just two days, the movie crossed the Rs 25 crore mark in India. It even went past the collections of his earlier hit HanuMan.
