The Great Indian Kapil Show continues to run its Season 4 on Netflix with laughter, nostalgia and candid stories. The latest episode featured cricket legends Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif and Yuvraj Singh. During their appearance, the trio shared fun and honest stories from their cricketing days.
The episode began with Kapil Sharma talking about the importance of friendship in life and sports. He welcomed the cricketers and praised their achievements.
Kapil Sharma Asks Virender Sehwag About His Headstrong Attitude
Kapil first asked Sehwag about his journey as a player and coach and touched on the long-standing rumour that he never listened to his coaches. Sehwag replied, “Main kisi ki nahi sunta tha. Sun bhi liya toh karta main apni hi tha. When I coach someone, I know what goes on in their mind when someone teaches them. I’ve never once listened to any of my coaches because if I fail, the failure will be my own.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu praised Sehwag, calling him one of the best cricketers India has produced.
The conversation then turned to Yuvraj when Kapil asked about claims that he bullied junior cricketers. He showed an old clip of Rohit Sharma recalling his early days in the team. Rohit said, “When I first went in the cricket bus, I didn’t know they had fixed seats for seniors. I accidentally sat on Yuvraj Singh’s seat and the look I got! I never sat there again.”
Yuvraj laughed and clarified, “It’s not like that. I nicely told him that it’s my seat. When I joined first, even I was scared of my seniors, so I understand.”
