Sumona Chakravarti has finally made an appearance in a Kapil Sharma Show promo. On Wednesday, the channel’s Instagram account posted a video of Sumona alone, in which she announced her return and teased the new season.
“Only three days to go, ab hoga teen gunna zyada mazza, the Kapil Sharma Show mein (it will be three times more fun on The Kapil Sharma Show),” Sumona Chakravarti teased in the countdown video. The actor also shared a picture from her vanity van from the sets on Wednesday and reaffirmed her return. “Hiiii,” she captioned the post.
Actress Archana Puran Singh, who is also returning to the show for the new season, said that Sumona is a part of the cast and there will be a big twist regarding her character. She told Aaj Tak, “If you think that Sumona is not in the show, then you are going to get a surprise soon. There is Sumona in the show but her avatar will be very different, but we will have the same lovely Sumona.”

The show will premiere from August 21 and they have already shot episodes with Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and legendary stars Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra. Kapil shared several pictures on his Instagram from the shoot.
The makers of The Kapil Sharma Show will be revamping the format of the show and include some new elements. Kapil had even invited new talent to his show recently. The makers have also got a new set designed.
Apart from Sumona, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Archana Puran Singh, and Kiku Sharda, comedian Sudhesh Lehri is the latest addition to the show. They all are coming back to bring the audience a much-needed dose of laughter.
