The Kerala Story Box office collection: Be it controversies or strong attempts to ban the film, ‘The Kerala Story’ has withstood it all and finally secured its place in the Rs 200 crore club. This is the second film after ‘Pathaan’ to earn Rs 200 crores, this year. Although there was a huge drop in the film’s earnings on May 22, still the film has earned Rs 200 crores at the box office making it a blockbuster hit.

Box office collection of ‘The Kerala Story‘
Amidst all the controversies, The Kerala Story released across theaters on May 5. While its release in some states created a lot of hue and cry, the film was well received in many places. By May 16, the film crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the box office. The film entered the Rs 200 crore club despite a drop in the collection on its third Monday of release.
About ‘The Kerala Story‘
‘The Kerala Story’ is about a Hindu girl played by Adah Sharma who belongs to a small town in Kerala. By creating doubt in her mind, she is converted to Islam and sent to Syria, where she is forced to join ISIS. The film is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
