VIkrant Massey: The internet was filled by Vikrant Massey appreciation posts after the actor took to his Instagram to share a post that hinted at retirement. The post took everyone by surprise and left wondering the reason behind this decision. However, as soon as Vikrant got an opportunity, he cleared up the air on his retirement. The Sabarmati Report actor told News18 that “I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health is also acting up… People misread it.”

In the post shared on 2nd December 2024, the actor wrote, "But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. Also as an Actor." The actor continued the post by saying, "So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right." Vikrant went on to thank his fans for their response on his last two films.

This post took the internet by surprise and soon became the topic of the day. Vikrant's fans were also taken aback by this post and they expressed their appreciation for his work. However, the actor cleared the air through News18 today, "“I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health is also acting up… People misread it” said Vikrant Massey when asked about his sudden retirement.

The Success of The Sabarmati Report

Vikrant's recent project "The Sabarmati Report" released in theatres on 15th November 2024. Made on a budget of ₹50 crores (approx.) the film has managed to earn ₹36.64 crores since release. Moreover, on Monday the Hon. Prime Minister of India also took time out of his day to watch the political drama and praised the efforts of the whole team. Following the screening, in a post expressing his gratitude for the kind words Vikrant said, "A day to remember for the rest of my life...Eternally grateful to the Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji for sparing the time to watch our movie...Your words of appreciation shall never be forgotten."

Vikrant Massey sent the internet in shock yesterday but as he cleared it up today he only meant to say that he is going to take a long break. The internet and his fans can finally lay all of yesterday's speculations to rest.
