The Sandman Review: Neil Gaiman’s most celebrated comic-book series, that is the Sandman has finally made it to the screen. (Yes That’s right!) And it looks like that in no time it is going to make it to the chart of the Top 10 trending on Netflix!

While this adaptation of the horror novel stars Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry.
It cannot be denied that ‘The Sandman’ keeps the Spirit of Neil Gaiman sweeping Comic Intact.

The plot

So the First Season of Netflix’s ‘The Sandman’ is adapted from Gaiman’s first two books, which is the Preludes & Nocturnes and The Doll’s House.

Where the series follows the story of the story of Tom Sturridge’s Morpheus who is actually the king of dreams, a powerful one indeed who controls all dreams and nightmares and further interacts with the human world. While DC’s cherished comic book series explores more than just the world of this one character.
A story of Master of Dreams (Tom Sturridge) who gives shape to all of our deepest fears as well as fantasies.

Let’s Review

So The First season of Sandman definitely lives upto the expectations and it’s like reading the comic again. And like some fans are saying, Gaiman, Allan Heinberg, David S. Goyer and the team behind the new Netflix series has exceeded those expectations.
The casting director has done an impeccable job and Tom Sturridge is just unreal in this character.
The dialogue delivery is too the point and visuals are extraordinary. While it is a heavy mixture of fantasy and violent action,  the series has a lot to tackle. And all the elements are handled very well. It’s just about perfect and truly a masterpiece. Not to forget It’s beautiful, magnificent and rich!
