Thunivu and Varisu not releasing on January 11; new date expected today

Thunivu – Varisu: The competition was expected to get tough between Thunivu and Varisu on Pongal after the makers of the films announced their release dates on the same day, on January 11. Now the buyers are facing problems because of this date clash.

As January 12 is considered as the best date according to the buyers, makers of both movie had preponed the release of their respective films to January 11. Now again there are rumors coming that they are looking for another date.

Wait for new date

While Thunivu producers are more inclined towards solo release, Varisu producers want the same release date as Thunivu. According to reports, another release update from both the teams Thunivu and Varisu is exepected today.

Meanwhile, Kollywood is all set to witness the biggest clash in recent times. Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu are set to lock horns during Pongal 2023. No matter on which date they arrive, both films will make the fans audience and trade circles go crazy with their competition.

For the unversed, Vijay vs Ajith will witness one of the most fiercest fan clashes of all time in Indian cinema. Every so often, it the fans indulge in bitter clash. This time too, with just a few days away from the release, fans of both Tamil heroes are attacking each other like anything on social media.

Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna in Vishu

While Varisu will see Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, others actors include Prakash Raj, R. Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shyam in important roles. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and its produced by Dil Raju, Sirish, Pearl V. Potluri, Param V. Potluri.

Thunivu is directed and written by H. Vinoth. The film stars superstar Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrior and is produced by Boney Kapoor. Alongside the major leads, Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, and Bagavathi Perumal appear in supporting roles.
