The first look of Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth in Toxic has sparked strong reactions online, with many fans comparing her gothic avatar to Morticia Addams.

Toxic Poster: The makers of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups have dropped a new character poster featuring Huma Qureshi. She has been introduced as Elizabeth. The reveal has quickly caught attention online. Many fans are talking about the poster’s dark and gothic feel.

Earlier, the team had unveiled Kiara Advani as Nadia. With Huma’s look now out, curiosity around the film has grown stronger. Social media reactions poured in within minutes of the reveal.

Yash shared Huma Qureshi’s first look on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. In the poster, Huma stands next to a vintage black car. The location looks like a cemetery. She wears an all-black outfit with off-shoulder sleeves. The styling feels bold and intense.

The background adds to the mood as a stormy sky hangs above while a winged woman’s statue stands behind her, looking sad and haunting. Tall structures frame the scene. Everything about the image feels cold, eerie and unsettling.

Huma’s expression is calm. Yet, it hides something dark. There is a quiet menace in her eyes. This has led many fans to believe that Elizabeth may not be a simple character. The look hints at a grey or negative role in the film.

Over the years, actors like Carolyn Jones, Anjelica Huston and Catherine Zeta-Jones have played the role, most recently in Netflix’s Wednesday.
