Trisha Krishnan Quits Films Amid Rumours Of Affair With Thalapathy Vijay? Actress Fires Back At Absurd Marriage And Kids Claim

Trisha Krishnan shuts down rumours of quitting films, marriage and kids with a witty Instagram post amid speculation about her relationship with Vijay. Check!

Trisha Krishnan is back in the news as rumours swirl around her personal life and career. Speculation has grown over her alleged relationship with actor and TVK chief Vijay, who is reportedly quitting films to enter politics. Adding fuel to the fire, actor-journalist Chithra Lakshmanan claimed that several Tamil producers suggested Trisha might be planning to leave acting.

Trisha Krishnan Responds To Rumours

Trisha has finally addressed the rumours with humour on Instagram. She wrote, “Apparently I’ve quit films, married a rich business man and I’m raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday! Anything else I should add or did we cover today’s fiction quota?”

The speculation had intensified because Trisha has not announced any new projects. She also posted, “Love is not everything, and yet everything is meaningless without love,” which some fans interpreted as a hint about her personal life. This follows October 2025 reports claiming she was marrying a Chandigarh-based businessman. At that time, she joked, “I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to plan the honeymoon too.”

Although rumours link her to Vijay, there is no official confirmation. Vijay is married to Sangeeta Sornalingam, whose divorce filings in February 2026 reportedly cited an affair. Trisha and Vijay were spotted in matching outfits at a wedding in Chennai in March, but both have stayed quiet about their relationship.

Trisha’s Work Front

On the career front, Trisha Krishnan has built an impressive career over more than 20 years. She won the Miss Chennai pageant in 1999 and appeared in a small role in Jodi the same year. She gained fame through Falguni Pathak’s 2000 music video Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye and made her lead debut in 2002 with Mounam Pesiyadhe.

Trisha has starred in several Tamil and Telugu hits, including Ghilli, Athadu, Kireedam, and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. She also made her Hindi debut with Khatta Meetha in 2010. Her recent films include Identity, Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly and Thug Life in 2025. Upcoming projects include Karuppu, Vishwambhara and Ram.
