Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Advance Booking: Pre-Sales Indicate Lukewarn Opening For Kartik Aaryan Starrer, Will Christmas Holiday Drive Footfalls?

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is expected to make a slow start at the box office as per advance booking trend. Kartik Aaryan starrer is yet to cross Rs 1 crore in pre-sales.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Advance Booking: Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are ready to return to the big screen together with their upcoming romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The film is slated for a Christmas Day release on December 25, but its box office journey has begun on a cautious note.

Early trends from advance booking suggest a lukewarm start, raising questions about whether the holiday season will be enough to push footfalls.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Advance Booking Starts Slow

Advance booking for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opened on December 21 in select cinemas. However, the initial response has been underwhelming. As reported by Sacnilk, the film sold around 16,318 tickets by 2 pm, collecting approximately Rs 69.13 lakh in pre-sales. The total has not yet crossed the Rs 1 crore mark, which is a modest figure for a Christmas release starring a popular actor like Kartik Aaryan.

Maharashtra and Delhi have emerged as the top-performing regions so far. Maharashtra alone contributed around Rs 28.72 lakh, while Delhi added Rs 13.72 lakh to the tally. Other centres remain slow, reflecting limited buzz at the ground level.

With two more days left before release, trade observers believe the film will depend heavily on spot bookings. The Christmas holiday could work in its favour, especially if families and young audiences step out for a festive watch. Kartik Aaryan’s past success with holiday releases also adds a layer of hope for the makers.

That said, the response to the trailer and songs has been mixed. Despite extensive promotions and city tours, the hype has not reached expected levels. This has made industry watchers cautious about the film’s opening-day numbers.

Kartik Aaryan And Ananya Panday Lack Chemistry?

Apart from box office discussions, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has also been in the spotlight for reasons beyond numbers. Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday have faced online chatter over their on-stage chemistry during promotions. Several videos from pre-release events have gone viral, with netizens claiming the two appear awkward together.

Some fans have pointed out that Kartik seems fully invested in promotions, often recreating dance steps and interacting with crowds. In contrast, Ananya has been accused by a section of users of not matching the same energy. However, supporters argue that such perceptions can be misleading and that the real test will be audience reaction after release.

Interestingly, Kartik and Ananya were once rumoured to be dating during Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2019. That history has only added fuel to online speculation, though neither actor has addressed these claims during promotions.
