‘Tumhara To Modi Ji Se…’ Netizens REACT After Elvish Yadav Raises Voice Against Mob Killing Of Hindu Minorities In Bangladesh, Check

Elvish Yadav reacted strongly after the mob killing of a Hindu man in Bangladesh, calling for serious attention beyond social media posts. His statement sparked mixed reactions online.

The killing of a young Hindu man in Bangladesh has shocked many people in India. The incident has led to anger, protests, and strong reactions online. Celebrities and public figures have also spoken about the issue.

A few days after Janhvi Kapoor condemned the violence, YouTuber and Laughter Chefs 3‘s Elvish Yadav shared his views. His post quickly went viral. It triggered a fresh debate on social media. Netizens reacted with mixed opinions.

The incident relates to the mob killing of 27-year-old Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh’s Mymensingh district. After news of his death spread, protests were reported in several Indian cities. Many people demanded justice and protection for minorities.

Elvish Yadav Speaks Out On Mob Killing In Bangladesh

Elvish Yadav addressed the issue on X on Friday evening. He made it clear that social media posts alone are not enough. In his message, he stressed the need for long-term attention.

He wrote, “This is not just about posting stories or making a few statements. The situation demands serious and sustained attention. I raised this concern back in 2021 and in 2024 through a video about the condition of Bangladeshi Hindus, and I am reiterating it today. The state of minorities in Bangladesh is deeply alarming and cannot be ignored any longer.”

His post spread quickly across platforms. Some users supported him for raising the issue again. Others questioned the purpose of his statement. One user commented, “Are you saying this to the public or to the government?
If you’re saying this in the public domain, what is its intended purpose? If you’re addressing the government, you can speak to them directly. It seems to me you haven’t decided what to say or to whom to say it. You just felt the need to say something, so you did.”

Another user urged him to speak directly to political leaders. The comment read, “Bhai tumhara to Modi ji se sidha sampark hai ek bar pls unko bol ke dekho kuchh karne ko.” A third user showed faith in Elvish and wrote, “Bhai yaar aapse hi to ummeed rahti hai ki aap hinduon ke liye bologe…..bs munawwar faruqui jaison ko khud se door rkho.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s Strong Reaction And What Happened

Before Elvish Yadav’s post, Janhvi Kapoor had already spoken out. She shared a strong note on her Instagram Stories. Her words drew wide attention online.

She wrote, “What is happening in Bangladesh is barbaric. It is slaughter and it is not an isolated incident. If you don’t know about his inhumane public lynching, read about it, see the videos, ask the questions. And if despite all of this you feel no rage, then it is exactly this kind of hypocrisy that will destroy us before we know it.”

Janhvi added another message on extremism. She said, “We will continue to cry about things half way across the globe while our own brothers and sisters are burnt to death. Extremism in any and every form needs to be called out and condemned before we forget our humanity.”

Dipu Chandra Das was killed on December 18, 2025. The 27-year-old Hindu garment worker was beaten to death by a mob in Mymensingh. The attack followed unverified allegations of blasphemy. His body was later tied to a tree and set on fire. The Rapid Action Battalion later found no proof that he had made any derogatory remarks against Islam. At least 12 people have been arrested in the case.

Days later, another Hindu man, Amrit Mondal, also known as Samrat, died in Rajbari district on December 24, 2025. Some reports linked it to communal violence. However, the Bangladesh interim government denied this. Officials claimed Mondal was a “listed criminal” who died during a clash with locals.
