Tunisha Sharma suicide: Tunisha Sharma committed suicide in the makeup room of her co-star Sheezan Khan during the filming of their show Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. This incident shocked fans, friends, and the whole entertainment industry. Tunisha’s ex-boyfriend, Sheezan Khan, was detained immediately after the late actress’ mother, Vanita Sharma, filed a complaint against him, and an abetment to suicide case was filed. On December 25, Sheezan was arrested by Waliv police under Section 306 of the IPC.

On Sunday, December 25, after being detained in an abetment to suicide case, a court in Vasai, Maharashtra, committed Sheezan to police custody for four days. Vasai court sentenced the accused the actor to two days in police custody. Sheezan’s police custody has been prolonged by the Vasai court, and he will remain in custody until Friday, December 30. The police are constantly questioning Sheezan and others involved in the case. After a thorough investigation, the police have recovered several significant items relevant to the case.

A note is retrieved from the sets of Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul after a thorough investigation of the crime site. The cops discovered a message in the makeup area that read, “He is privileged to have me as a co-star Woohooo.” On that sheet of paper, Tunisha and Sheezan’s names were also penned.

Police also found nearly 250 pages of Whatsapp talks between Sheezan and Tunisha from his phone, which will be analyzed further. Cops also discovered Sheezan’s conversation with Tunisha’s mother. According to the authorities, Sheezan was in contact with his second ex-girlfriend and was talking to her on Whatsapp before deleting all of his communications. The cops have requested that all of Sheezan’s discussions with his other ex-girlfriend be recovered from Whatsapp, and they are investigating why he erased all of his conversations. Sheezan was also on the phone for two hours with his ex-girlfriend on the day Tunisha committed herself.

Three cellphones, including two iPhones, were seized by police. According to India TV, cops also seized a 10-inch long cloth piece that was used to hang by cutting.

Today, December 29, the police took Sheezan Khan to the hospital for a series of medical tests.

Tunisha’s uncle questioned Sheezan’s statement

Tunisha’s uncle also stated that the late actress and Sheezan were close since the commencement of the show. He further claimed that Tunisha had an anxiety attack and was admitted to the hospital roughly 10 days before her suicide. Tunisha’s uncle and mother paid her a visit at the hospital, and she told them she had been wronged and cheated on.

AICWA demanded SIT inquiry

Tunisha’s death on the show’s set has surprised and disturbed many viewers, as well as generated concerns for the other actors. Officials have also expressed worry about this occurrence, issuing a statement indicating that actors should receive counselling and that protection for women on the show’s sets should be increased. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) urged on December 25 that the Maharashtra government form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate Tunisha Sharma’s death. “We demand that the government appoint a SIT in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case and that the probe be done correctly,” AICWA president Suresh Shyamlal Gupta said.

FWICE president said this

In response to Tunisha’s suicide, BN Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), remarked, “There will be a meeting with the Producer body, and all artists and crew members must receive counselling. This is the first time it has happened on the sets, and we don’t want it to become a habit. This must be stopped; it is a disgrace to the film industry, thus we are eager to meet with the producers and look into it.”

Video of Sheezan taking Tunisha to hospital

On December 27, a CCTV video of what happened after Tunisha committed suicide became viral on social media networks. Sheezan Khan, another male, and a lady were seen transporting Tunisha to a hospital in Naigaon in this video. Tunisha is seen being hurriedly carried up a set of stairs by a man while Sheezan and the other women walk by him. Sheezan was spotted sporting his Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul outfit. Surrendar Pal, the doctor at the Naigaon hospital, said that Tunisha was already dead when they arrived. Sheezan was screaming nonstop and pleading with physicians to save her in whatever way they could, but her body was cold, and when the doctors checked her eyes, there was no movement.

Many people speculated that Tunisha was pregnant. Doctors, however, dismissed this bogus story, stating that the 20-year-old actress died of asphyxia and was not pregnant.

Tunisha Sharma’s funeral

Tunisha’s funeral took place on December 27 at 3 p.m. in a crematorium on Mira Road in Mumbai. Kanwar Dhillon, Shivin Narang, Avneet Kaur, Reem Shaikh, Vishal Jethwa, Sidharth Nigam, Abhishek Nigam, Deepika Singh, and many other actors paid their respects at Tunisha’s final rites. Tunisha’s Bhog and Antim Ardas will be held at her homeland of Punjab on January 5, 2022.
