On May 6, TV actress Chandrika Saha lodged a police complaint against her husband of 21 years, Aman Mishra. The actress accused her husband of allegedly injuring their 15-month-old son by slamming them on the floor of their bedroom. After registering a complaint at Bangur Nagar police station, the actress had admitted her innocent child to a private hospital.
Husband's brutality revealed from CCTV footage
According to the FIR lodged by Chandrika, the actress met Aman, a share trader, in 2020 and they had a child early last year. In her complaint, Chandrika told the police that Aman was not happy with the birth of her child and on Friday she found the child crying in the bedroom with bruises. After admitting the child to the hospital, Chandrika checked the CCTV footage and was shocked to see that Aman had banged the child's head thrice on the floor.
Police filed FIR against Chandrika's husband
Pramod Tawde, senior police inspector of Bangur Nagar police station, said, "Based on the complaint filed by TV actress Chandrika Saha, we have registered a case against Aman Mishra under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 on a child."
