Gia Manek (the original Gopi Bahu from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya) has tied the knot with actor Varunn Jain. Gia, who won hearts for two years with her iconic role, shared wedding photos on social media.
In her post, she wrote, “With the grace of Divine and Master’s and with all the love showered, we’ve stepped into this forever union – hand in hand, heart to heart. We were two friends, today we’re husband & wife. So grateful for the love, blessings and wishes from all our loved ones who made this day so special. Cheers to a lifetime of laughter, adventure, memories, and togetherness as Mr. & Mrs Gia & Varunn.”

Gia Manek Marries Varunn Jain In Bhuta Shuddhi Vivah Ceremony
The couple looked elegant in traditional attire. Gia wore a mustard saree while Varunn matched her with a similar outfit. Fans and celebrities quickly reacted to the wedding photos, which have already gathered over 15,000 likes.
The ceremony was a Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha, a unique wedding ritual offered by Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation. As per the foundation, “Bhuta Shuddhi is a refinement of the five elements in the human system (earth, water, air, fire, and space). Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha offers the couple the opportunity to achieve a deep bond on an elemental level. In this elaborate sacred ceremony, the couple circumambulates a sacred wedding fire.”

Varunn Jain is also a television actor. He gained fame for his role as Mohit Arun Rathi in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum. He has also acted in shows like Mere Angne Mein, Pehredaar Piya Ki, and Jamai 2.0. Nothing is known about his current project.

Gia Manek rose to fame with Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, which aired in 2010 and became one of India’s longest-running soap operas. She is remembered for her comic timing and iconic scenes, including washing a laptop with detergent and making her on-screen husband blush. During the pandemic, her character saw renewed popularity as fans revisited the series. Apart from Gopi Bahu, Gia has also played Jeannie in the fantasy sitcom Jeannie Aur Juju and appeared in several other TV shows throughout her career.
She also reunited with Rupal Patel and Mohammed Nazim for another show similar to Saathiya. It was titled Tera Mera Saath Rahe and aired on Star Bharat.
