Unfiltered Admiration: Suniel Shetty Applauds SRK’s Timeless Elegance While Standing Firm on ‘Border 2’ Vow

Suniel Shetty’s recent interviews reveal both admiration and determination. He praised Shah Rukh Khan’s timeless elegance, disciplined work ethic, and ability to maintain mystery in the digital era. At the same time, he stood firm on his emotional vow regarding Border 2. The blend of respect for a fellow superstar and pride as a father reflects Shetty’s grounded and heartfelt approach to both cinema and family.

Suniel Shetty Showcases the Yesteryear Appeal of Shah Rukh Khan On His Global Stardom. Recently, Suniel Shetty openly supported and appreciated Shah Rukh Khan for being a timeless gentleman and a globally established film star. Suniel had the opportunity to share screen time with Shah Rukh in the 2004 blockbuster film Main Hoon Na, reminiscing on how he had the chance to work with such an iconic actor.

What makes Shah Rukh Khan different from the other modern-day stars is his “yesteryear charm” and the mystery that he creates as a performer on-screen. Suniel describes Shah Rukh as a creatively graceful type of workaholic who would rather let his work do the talking than keep updated on social media. Additionally, Suniel stated that Shah Rukh creates a lot of intrigue outside of the camera lens, which continues to add to his overall timeless appeal.

Suniel also stated his belief that limiting public exposure to the media, as Ranbir Kapoor has done, will ultimately add to a star’s mystique in today’s technology-based world.

Border 2 Commitment: A Father’s Mannat

While speaking about the next chapter in the iconic war franchise, Shetty also addressed his emotional vow related to Border 2. The film stars his son Ahan Shetty alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan.

Suniel Shetty has taken a personal mannat, or vow, that he will not watch the film until it crosses ₹500 crore at the box office. He views this as a symbolic gesture for his son’s success rather than a publicity move. The actor emphasised that the sequel should be judged on its own merit and not constantly compared to the 1997 original Border, where he played Captain Bhairon Singh.
