Day Shift is a Netflix original movie that tells the story of a vampire hunter (Foxx) who is trying to make ends meet so that he can care for his daughter.
This action-filled dark comedy has a little bit of everything: it is fun, filled with dark jokes, and lots of for, making it the perfect film for the streaming giant.
Day Shift arrived on Netflix on August 12. The run time is one hour and fifty-three minutes, and it is rated-R.
The film is directed by J.J Perry, a newcomer behind the camera. However, the stuntman is no newbie to the silver screen, having worked on films like John Wick and Mortal Kombat.

“Jamie Foxx stars as a hard-working blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an International Union of Vampire Hunters.”
