Upcoming Netflix Originals: Netflix has released a list of all the original shows and movies anticipated to be released next month. Below is a list of some of the best Netflix originals that are coming out in September 2022.

1. Love in the Villa
Coming on Netflix on September 1st, this romantic comedy starring Kat Graham and Tom Hopper is based on an original screenplay by Mark Steven Johnson, the director.
Filmed in Verona, Italy the movie is about a young woman who ventures out on vacation after a bad breakup but finds the apartment she is supposed to stay in is double booked.
2. Cobra Kai (Season 5)
New seasons of Cobra Kai have been coming at a quick pace and this year, you’ll have to wait even less time for the fifth season of The Karate Kid spin-off series. Coming to Netflix on September 9th, the show which originally began its life on YouTube, sees John Kreese behind bars after being backstabbed by his now former partner.
The new season will see unlikely partnerships continue and rivalries continue to burn bright.
3. Heartbreak High (Season 1)
A brand new reboot of Heartbreak High comes to Netflix exclusively from Australia. The original series ran between 1994 and 1999, and the reboot is set to arrive on Netflix on September 14th
The teen series returns to Hartley High after over 20 years with lots of new students navigating love, sex, and heartbreak.
4. Fate: A Winx Saga (Season 2)
First premiering in January 2021, Fate: A Winx Saga is Netflix’s teen series based on the Nickelodeon animated series about fairies. The animated series was a hit and when Netflix created a live-action, it changed things up a bit. The show is far from the bubbly, colourful animated show, but is a hit nonetheless. The second season of the show premieres on September 16th.
Andrew Dominik directs this film that imagines a different take on the life and career of Marilyn Monroe. Starring Ana de Armas in the lead role, the film is based on the book by Joyce Carol Oates.
The movie is notably Netflix’s first NC-17 movie release and is one of the most anticipated Netflix fall movies. It was originally scheduled for Netflix on September 23rd, but the date has since been pushed back to September 28th.
