Perhaps because the word ‘Javed’ is used in both. Now, she has finally met the ‘legend’ Javed Akhtar. She also took to her Instagram to share a picture with the veteran lyricist.

Urfi took to Instagram on Sunday morning to share photos of herself with Javed Akhtar, writing,’met my grandfather with smiling emojis’. “Finally met my grandfather today,” Urfi captioned his photo. “Also, he is a legend; so many people lined up for selfies early in the morning, but he didn’t turn anyone away and chatted with everyone with a smile. He was so welcoming! I’m speechless,” she added.
Earlier, speaking about the connection with Javed Akhtar, Urfi had told ETimes, “People have cooked up stories just because my entire name is Urfi Javed. But he was never associated with me in any way. All this is just done to troll him and put his name down by associating my outfit controversy with him. But how is that even relevant? Even if his own granddaughter wears anything of her choice what’s wrong with that? Why is he being held responsible for that?”
Urfi Javed is ‘actually allergic to clothes’
Urfi Javed, who has been a part of several controversies mainly because of outfits, said she is actually allergic to clothes as she shared pictures of thighs covered in boils.
“Anyone gets these allergies in winters?” she captioned the post. Later, she shared another video in which she revealed that she got boils on her body after she wore some woollen clothes and captioned it, “I am literally allergic to clothes.”
“So now you guys know right that why I don’t wear clothes. I have this serious condition. My body starts reacting after wearing clothes. The proof is there. So that’s why main itna nangi rehti hoon (So that’s why I prefer being nude),” Urfi revealed.
