Valentine's Day is around the corner and it's all balloons and cakes for the lovers. Singles, meanwhile, are made feel even lonelier during the season of love and that can really take a toll on their mental health. But, singlehood has its own perks -- you are more welcoming to challenges when you are alone. Today, we are listing five Bollywood movies that will guide you down through the path of life.

1. Dear Zindagi

Starring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, Dear Zindagi is a warm blanket to every heart suffering. The film feels like a bright sun on a winter morning which makes you hope for better days.

After failing personally and professionally, Kiara begins to suffer physically and mentally. She then reaches out to Dr Jehangir Khan who helps her overcome burdensome feelings and hatred towards life.

2. Queen 

Queen tells the story of Rani, an under-confident girl, who decides to go on her honeymoon alone after her fiancee calls off the wedding. While it may seem like a devastating ending for Rani, newly attained single hood surprisingly opens new possibilities and opportunities for her. 

The film stars Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in key roles. 

3. Piku 

Piku is a sweet tale of father-daughter love that will warm your heart this Valentine’s Day. The film Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in leading roles. 

4. Ae Dil Hai Muskil 

Letting go is an art and this film celebrates it. Of friendship and love, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a heartbreaking tale depicting how love is so many things than just being with someone. 

5. Thappad

Thappad is poignant film that depicts the sensitivity of relationships. In the film, Taapsee Pannu makes the difficult choice of leaving her perfect husband that changes the course of her life.
