The digital creator reacted strongly after receiving a legal notice from his co-contestant Ridhima Pandit, and the clip quickly sparked debate online.
The issue began after Ridhima reportedly took legal action against Vanshaj. She accused him of cyber harassment and claimed that his comments led to online abuse from his followers. Soon after the news surfaced, Vanshaj responded on social media.
He uploaded a video on his IG stories reacting to the legal notice and wrote, “Me after 1 legal notice by Ridhima best actress in the world.”
The clip spread rapidly across social platforms and triggered strong reactions from viewers of the show.

In the viral video, Vanshaj spoke openly about the conflict and said he felt he was insulted during his time on the reality show The 50. He explained his side of the story while reacting to the controversy.
He said, “Mai ek reality show mein jata hoon, waha pe mujhe dhappa, aukaat kya hai, badtameez ye sab bola gaya. Maine respond kiya ‘aunty’ bol ke…Mere ko legal notice bhej diya.”
According to Vanshaj, the argument started during an episode of the show. He claimed he simply responded to comments made against him and did not try to create hate online.
He also denied the allegation that he was spreading negativity on social media. Vanshaj said he only shared clips from the reality show. He defended his actions and said, “Agar aap usme bure dikh raha ho to shayad aap bure ho.”

Why Ridhima Pandit Sent A Legal Notice
The dispute between the two contestants reportedly escalated earlier this month. In March 2026, Ridhima sent a legal notice to Vanshaj, accusing him of cyber harassment and online abuse after their confrontation on The 50.
According to her legal team, the conflict began when Ridhima confronted Vanshaj for what she called “unacceptable conduct” during an episode. Their argument soon turned into a heated verbal exchange, during which Vanshaj allegedly used age-related remarks and called her “aunty”.
Ridhima claimed that Vanshaj’s posts after the episode encouraged his followers to target her online. She alleged that the abuse went so far that she received death threats and threats of sexual violence. Members of her family were also dragged into the controversy.
Because of this, her legal team issued a notice on March 8, 2026, and also filed a complaint with the cyber police seeking strict action.
Vanshaj then shared screenshots of it on social media and reacted in a mocking tone. He also warned Ridhima that she had “no concept of the forces” she had set in motion. While Vanshaj described the issue as a “movement” for digital creators, Ridhima maintains that her legal step was necessary to address serious online bullying.
Meanwhile, the reality show The 50 continues to air new episodes at 9 pm on the JioHotstar streaming platform and at 10:30 pm on Colors TV.
