Varisu Box Office Collection Day 2: Thalapathy Vijay has made the ticket counters ring, and loudly. Since the film’s announcement, fans have been anticipating its release with bated breath. Fans had no idea Varisu would face a high-voltage duel with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu. This week, Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay’s films, which have already grabbed the box office by storm, placed against one other. Vijay-led is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and co-stars Rashmika Mandanna, R. Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, and Jayasudha in crucial roles.

Aside from the box office competition, Varisu has been dealing with a couple of other issues since the morning. Varisu has been crushing the box office. Thalapathy Vijay’s Tamil version has opened to Rs 21-23 crore in India. The collection reached the numbers between Rs 13-15 crores on second day. However, competing against Thala Ajith is not easy. Varisu is anticipated to see a significant increase on weekends, based on word of mouth.

Vijay and Ajith’s fans wreaked havoc outside a Chennai theatre, leading police to issue a lathi charge. Previously, the Chennai government prohibited the pouring of milk over large cutout posters of the leading actors prior of the debut of their films.
