Veteran actor Mangal Dhillon dies after prolonged battle with cancer

Veteran actor of Punjabi and Hindi films Mangal Dhillon is no more. The actor was admitted to the hospital in Ludhiana before his death. He was battling cancer for a long time. The information about his last rites has not been revealed yet. Mangal Dhillon celebrates his birthday on 18th June and a week ago he bid goodbye to this world.

Sukhbir Singh Badal expresses grief over Mangal Dhillon’s death 

Sukhbir Singh Badal president of Shiromani Akali Dal mourned the actor's death and expressed his condolences on Twitter and wrote, “Saddened to learn about the demise of noted actor, writer, director and producer of Punjabi cine industry Mr Mangal Dhillon. It’s a big loss to the world of Indian Cinema. His captivating voice and theatrical displays will be missed by many. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and fans.”

Mangal Dhillon has worked in many television shows and films. He played the role of Lubhaya Ram in the television series 'Buniyaad' which aired in 1986. After this, in 1988, he was seen in the role of an advocate in bollywood actress Rekha's film 'Khoon Bhari Maang'.
