Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale passes away at 82

Vikram Gokhale: The film industry is losing gems of the Indian cinema this year and another sad news has come to fore. Reportedly, The iconic actor of Bollywood, Vikram Gokhale passes away at 82. He was undergoing treatment at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune as he was hospitalized earlier due to prolonged illness. However, his condition was stable but it started deteriorating again and his condition was critical since morning and he breathed his last on November 26.

Many Celebrities have poured condolences to the iconic actor. He has done some big movies for the Indian cinema and he was well-known for some of his roles. He also played important role in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Parwana. Vikram played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. He was seen in supporting role in films, ‘Tum Bin’, Bhool Bhulaiya’, and ‘Mission Mangal’. He was last seen in the film ‘Nikamma’ alongside Shirley Shetia and Shilpa Shetty.

About Vikram Gokhale

He used to run an acting academy in Pune as he was living here since few years with his wife and he was a recipient of National Award in 2010. Vikram is survived by his wife Vrushali Gokhale and two daughters. The iconic actor was from a family of actors, his grandmother was an actress and his father Chandrakant Gokhale was famous Marathi film and stage artist of his time.
