Vicky Kaushal has reacted to Aamir Khan’s praise and picking him for possible Lagaan remake. He said that Aamir will always be the original Bhuvan.

Vicky Kaushal recently responded to a huge compliment from superstar Aamir Khan. Aamir said that if Lagaan were remade today, Vicky could play the iconic role of Bhuvan. The 2001 sports drama, in which Aamir played the lead, is still one of the most loved films in Indian cinema.

Here’s What Vicky Kaushal Said

Vicky shared a clip of Aamir on Komal Nahta’s Game Changers podcast on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “There can be no other ‘Bhuvan’ than Aamir Sir… but such an honour to get such kind words from the master himself.”

On the podcast, Aamir explained why he thinks Vicky could play Bhuvan. The Sitaare Zameen Par actor shared, “Vicky Kaushal, I think he has that quality of Bhuvan – dignity, strength, inner strength, steadiness, and integrity. He reflects all of that very naturally. He is a great actor.”
