During his interview with Film Companion, Vicky Kaushal showered praise on his wife Katrina Kaif. The actor said, “She is a very emotional person overall but is quite sensible when it comes to work. Particularly when it comes to my performance or my trailer, she will state the facts as absolutes. I will be gone after I show her my dance practice. Knowing that this is based on all of that experience helps.”

He added, “She will say things that I know are based on a wealth of experience of highs and lows, of good decisions and mistakes, while I am wondering ye karu ya wo Karu about making decisions. She is quite objective, so I know I must take her opinion seriously when I hear it. That level of insight and pragmatism is quite admirable. Knowing her, I knew things weren't always going her way, but she hustled, worked hard, and aced the test. I don't want to go overboard in her favor, but I genuinely believe that just as there was Hema Malini's era and Rekha's era, she has attained that kind of milestone on her merit.”
