Fake Admit Card Controversy
Reports surfaced of Sunny Leone’s photo appearing on an admit card for the UP Police Constable Recruitment exam. The registration was allegedly done on the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s website, with the exam scheduled at Smt Soneshree Memorial Girls College in Kannauj’s Tirwa.
Suspicious Registration Details
Further investigation revealed that the mobile number used for registration belonged to a resident in UP’s Mahoba, while the address provided was in Mumbai. However, no candidate showed up with the controversial admit card on the day of the examination, according to the college administration.
Police Crackdown on Impersonation
Amidst the controversy, more than 120 people were arrested across Uttar Pradesh for impersonating candidates and cheating during the police constable recruitment examination. The Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar confirmed the arrests, with individuals apprehended in various districts for using fraudulent means during the exam.
Challenges Faced During the Examination
The Additional Director General of the STF, Amitabh Yash, highlighted the tactics used by those arrested, including the use of chits and impersonation. The arrests underscore the challenges faced by authorities in ensuring the integrity of the recruitment process.
