Vicky spoke about fatherhood at the Yuvaa Conclave in Mumbai during a conversation with Nikhil Taneja. A video of the talk has gone viral on Reddit.

Asked what he is most looking forward to, Vicky laughed and said, “Just being a dad.” He added, “I am really looking forward to it… I think it is a huge blessing… Exciting times, almost there, so fingers crossed.” His words suggest that the couple is nearing the big moment.
Vicky also said how he plans to stay close to Katrina. He said, “Mujhe lag raha hai ke main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hun (I don’t think I will step out of the house).” His comments show how excited and dedicated he is to support his wife.

The joy spreads through the family, too. Earlier this month, Sunny Kaushal (soon-to-be uncle) spoke to the paparazzi in Mumbai. He said, “Khushkhabhri hai aur sabko badi khushi hai (It’s happy news and everyone is delighted). Nervous bhi hain sab ki aage jaake kya hoga (We’re also nervous about what lies ahead), so we are just waiting for that day to come.”

Last month, Vicky and Katrina announced their pregnancy on Instagram, ending months of speculation. They shared a black-and-white Polaroid photo showing Katrina looking down at her baby bump with a gentle smile, while Vicky rests his head against hers and cradles her bump. The couple wrote, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Chhava and is currently busy with Sanya Leela Bhansali’s War 2. He will begin shooting Maddock Films’ Mahavatar next. Katrina hasn’t announced her next project after Tiger 3.
