Vivek Agnihotri asks Anurag Kashyap to prove him wrong about his research as Twitter war erupts over The Kashmir Files

Vivek Agnihotri and Anurag Kashyap started war on Twitter. They are writing tweets against each other over The Kashmir Files. It all started after Anurag Kashyap’s comment on how ‘Pushpa, Kantara and KGF’ destroyed Bollywood. After his statement, Vivek Agnihotri called him ‘Bollywood’s one and only milord’ and Anurag Kashyap lost his calm. He asked Vivek to do a ‘little more research’ on his movies but Vivek Agnihotri took a jibe at Anurag asked Dobaara director to prove him wrong for his four years research for The Kashmir Files.

The Kashmir Files has sparked debate since its release in theatres in March 2022. This year, the film was one of the highest-grossing in Bollywood. However, The Kashmir Files has sparked various issues in recent months. The most recent being the verbal spat between Anurag Kashyap and Vivek Agnihotri. Anurag's remarks about how 'Pushpa and KGF wrecked Bollywood' did not sit well with Vivek. In response to his remarks, The Kashmir Files director referred to Anurag as a 'Bollywood Milord.

Anurag reacted on it and wrote on his Twitter account, “Sir aapki galti nahin hai, aap ki filmon ki research bhi aisi hi hoti hai jaise aapki mere conversations pe tweet hai. Aapka aur aapki media ka bhi same haal hai. Koi nahin next time thoda serious research kar lena ..”

After having Anurag Kashypa’s reply, Vivek responded again and asked to prove him wrong about his research. He wrote, “Bholenath, aap lage haath sabit kar hi do ki #TheKashmirFiles ka 4 saal ka research sab jhooth tha. Girija Tikoo, BK Ganju, Airforce killing, Nadimarg sab jhooth tha. 700 Panditon ke video sab jhooth the. Hindu kabhi mare hi nahin. Aap prove kar do, DOBAARA aisi galti nahin hogi.”
