War 2 Song ‘Aavan Jaavan’ OUT: Hrithik Roshan-Kiara Advani Hug, Kiss And Dance In Italy, But Why Is That Bikini Scene Mandatory?

There are just two weeks left before War 2 hits theatres, and Yash Raj Films has released the film’s first song - “Aavan Jaavan” - starring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. This romantic track is already trending, thanks to its scenic Italian backdrop and the electrifying chemistry between the lead pair. It also marks Kiara’s return after motherhood.

“Aavan Jaavan” brings back the celebrated Kesariya team of director Ayan Mukerji, composer Pritam, singer Arijit Singh, and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya. Their past success sets high expectations for this track, too. The song captures Hrithik and Kiara exploring Italian streets, driving through lush landscapes, and sharing lovey-dovey moments.

However, one bold bikini scene featuring Kiara has become a hot topic online. While people are loving the glamorous visuals, the inclusion of such a shot feels forced after its continuous appearance in the teaser and trailer (and now the song).

Netizens React To Film’s FIRST Track

Some users online called the song “dull” and said they preferred “Ghungroo” from the previous film. Meanwhile, Arijit Singh’s fans continue to shower praise for his vocals.

“Aavan Jaavan” is available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, making sure fans across India can enjoy the music. Director Ayan Mukerji spoke fondly about the song and said,  “Aavan Jaavan – was the soundtrack for our Italian shoot.”

Talking about the film, War 2 is already generating buzz through its first song. The film is the sixth chapter in the YRF Spy Universe and continues from the 2019 hit War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and written by Shridhar Raghavan, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, with Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in special roles.

War 2 is set to release worldwide on August 14, 2025, just ahead of Independence Day.
