A report by journalist Vickey Lalwani claimed that Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised because of stomach-related complications. Soon after, another report by NDTV stated that the actor had already been discharged after undergoing a regular examination.
An ETimes source later dismissed the alarming reports and clarified the situation. The source said, “Mr Bachchan did visit Nanavati Hospital on Saturday; however, it was a regular check-up which he goes for every month, and he returned home after that. The news is absolutely false. He is absolutely fine, and after his regular hospital visit on Saturday, he was back home and was also seen driving his car from Jalsa to Janak the next day. He is currently at home.”

Interestingly, amid the ongoing rumours, Amitabh Bachchan took to his personal blog and shared a fresh post for his fans. While he did not directly address the reports about his health, his message drew significant attention online.
In the early hours of Wednesday, the actor shared a poem on his blog that read, “Cheel jab howe shant to bhaiya, tote bolan suru karen ir bir fatte, kahan, chal hamau, pilave suru karen!!!! bajre di roti kha di, fu padiyon da, saag re munh mein dalan lagai jaise , bolan lage kaag re!”

Amitabh Bachchan: Upcoming Films
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, where he will reprise his role as Ashwatthama. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi film became one of the biggest Indian box office hits of 2024.
