Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna celebrated his birthday on 11 December with a grand party in Mumbai. Many of his co-contestants attended the event. Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, Mridul Tiwari, Abhishek Bajaj, Amaal Mallik, Shehbaz Badesha and Neelam Giri were all seen enjoying the night. The reunion was full of photos, music and happy moments. But one person was clearly missing. Tanya Mittal did not attend the celebration. In a viral video, she has revealed why.
Tanya Mittal On Skipping Gaurav Khanna’s Birthday Party
Tanya was spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai around the time of the party. When the paps asked her if she would go to Gaurav’s birthday bash, she gave a clear answer. She said she did not want to meet people who had insulted her inside the Bigg Boss house.
She told paps, “Nahi, main nahi jaungi. Maine bohot clear kiya ki jin bhi logon ne meri beizzati ki hai…aur GK sir ne toh ye bhi bola ki main apni family chhupa rahi hu taaki mera sach saamne nahi aa jaye. Toh jab mere parivaar pe unhe bharosa nahi hai toh main waha jaakar kis baat se bharosa dila paungi.” (No, I will not go. I made it very clear that the people who disrespected me… and GK sir even said that I was hiding my family so that my truth wouldn’t come out. So if he doesn’t trust my family, what trust am I supposed to prove by going there?)
She was not the only one who skipped the event. Farhana Bhatt and Malti Chahar also did not attend. Both of them had issues with Gaurav during the show, and it looks like nothing has changed after the finale.
Farhana Bhatt Calls Bigg Boss 19 Winner ‘Fake’
Bigg Boss 19 runner-up Farhana Bhatt also spoke about Gaurav Khanna in a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble. She said she had prepared herself for any result. Still, she was shocked when Gaurav’s name was announced as the winner.
Farhana said she froze for a moment when she heard his name. She looked at host Salman Khan because she could not believe it. She only calmed down when he smiled at her, and then she smiled and congratulated Gaurav.
She also spoke about the contestants she found “fake” inside the house. She named Gaurav Khanna and Tanya Mittal in her list.
Talking about her heartbreak, she said, “Kyunki mujhe lag raha tha ki main jeetungi… But kahin na kahin, I always keep myself prepared ki shayad cheezein mere against bhi turn ho sakti hain… I have to be prepared for the worst.”
She added, “Jab announce hua aur finally Gaurav ko trophy mili, I looked back at SK to see his expression, kyunki main nahi accept kar pa rahi thi… Aur tab woh muskuraya… Aur tabhi main muskurane lagi aur maine bola – Congratulations.”
When asked if Gaurav deserved the trophy, Farhana stayed firm. She said she never felt he should reach the top two, but the audience’s decision matters most. “At the end, he has the trophy, and that’s okay.”
Before the party, Gaurav visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with his Bigg Boss trophy. He smiled for the cameras and thanked fans for their support. He has also shared that he wants to use his prize money to go on a vacation with his wife Akanksha Chamola.
