Actor couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are back in the spotlight with a fun new ad for Abu Dhabi tourism. The ad shows them celebrating what looks like their wedding anniversary with humour and playful roleplay.

The latest clip starts with Ranveer asking Deepika if she’s been “stalking” him. He wonders whether their outing is a romantic comedy or a spy thriller. Deepika responds with a sealed envelope, and Ranveer says, “It’s a date.” She teases him further – “What if I’m a vacationing double agent?” The scene then moves to a dinner, where Ranveer greets her warmly – “Hello, my lovely. You look ravishing.”
During the meal, Deepika surprises Ranveer with a coaster that reads “Happy anniversary.” Their playful banter continues as Deepika jokingly calls him “Bond who forgot to shave.” Ranveer laughs and says, “You can’t make me laugh. How am I supposed to stay in character? This roleplay stuff is too cheesy.” The ad ends with Deepika asking about the next day’s plans, and Ranveer teasingly replies, “Just wait and watch.”

This is the second ad featuring the couple for Abu Dhabi tourism. The first one sparked some controversy online when Deepika wore an abaya at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the world’s most famous landmarks. However, this new ad has been praised for its humour, charm and the couple’s chemistry. Fans are even asking them to star together in a rom-com.
One fan commented, “How beautiful she looks in red, every time.” Another said, “Deepika and Ranveer, please come together for a rom-com.” Someone else wrote, “I would so love to see them in something light-hearted, happy ending wala movie.”
