Five breakfast items that can help you lower your sugar level include the following:
Include sprouts, such as Chana Dal or Moong Dal in your breakfast. Being rich in fiber content, and antioxidant, they improve insulin sensitivity and slow down carbohydrate absorption.
High fiber present in green vegetables slows down your digestion, and prevents blood sugar spikes. In addition, these vegetables have low glycemic index that does not cause an increase in blood glucose levels. All in all, they improve your overall health. Eating these vegetables by boiling and adding some salt to them will let you draw their maximum benefits.
Make salad including carrot, radish and cucumber. These vegetables have high fiber content and low glycemic index that help you manage your blood sugar level. They also supply antioxidants to your body that reduce inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity.
Eggs have healthy fat, high protein and low carbohydratecontent that regulate insulin and promote satiety. So, they are an appropriate choice for you. You can eat them in the boiled form or making an omelet in mustard oil (purely made with real mustard), not in refined oil.
