Digvijay Singh, Harsimrat Badal test positive for COVID-19

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has tested positive for coronavirus. He is currently quarantining at his residence in Delhi.

"My covid-19 test report has come up positive. I am currently in quarantine at my Delhi residence. During this time, all the people who came in contact with me keep themselves in isolation and take all precautions related to their health," he tweeted.

Siromani Akaali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal, a Union former Union minister, said that she has tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms.

''I have quarantined myself at home and am taking all the necessary precautions. I would request all those who came in contact with me to isolate and get themselves tested at the earliest,'' the 54-year-old SAD MP from Punjab Bathinda said. Her husband and SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal had also recently tested positive for COVID-19 and recovered.
