Urfi Javed was diagnosed with Laryngitis while on vacation in Dubai with buddies. Unfortunately, the actress fell ill after only a few days of vacation and had to spend the rest of the trip resting in her hotel. Urfi took to Instagram Stories to discuss her situation. “This doctor finally diagnosed me with laryngitis and tonsillitis,” she added. After she acknowledged it in the video, the doctor asked her not to speak and made the zipping motions with her mouth.
What is Larygnitis?
Laryngitis is an inflammation of the larynx, or human voice box, caused by overuse, irritation, or infection. According to the Mayo Clinic, the voice cords are two folds of mucous membrane that cover muscle and cartilage inside the larynx. The vocal cords normally open and close smoothly, producing sounds with their motions and vibrations. However, in the condition of laryngitis, the vocal chords become inflamed or irritated. It generates loud vocal noises and, in certain situations, makes speech inaudible.
Laryngitis, or inflammation of the vocal cords, can be caused by poor vocal hygiene. The most common cause of laryngitis is a virus. Bacterial and fungal infections are two more rare infections.
Urfi Javed is in legal trouble
An official complaint was recently made against Urfi Javed. A lawyer, Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, filed the written application at the Andheri police station. She found herself in legal trouble after the written complaint accused her of engaging in unlawful and indecent behavior in public places and on social media.
