The fitness world loves big promises. But what happens when those promises fall apart under a real whey protein test? A new blind lab examination by Trustified has gone viral, and it is raising questions about a popular whey protein brand endorsed by The Great Khali. The results are shocking, as per the findings.
Trustified is known for honest and independent blind testing. Many people have been asking them to test fast-growing regional whey protein brands. So the platform decided to check Muscle Club Isolate 100% Protein, a product that has gained attention mainly because of Khali’s endorsement.
To keep the process clean, Trustified did not buy the product from the official store. They ordered two boxes using two different anonymous IDs and sent them to two separate locations. One sealed box was shipped directly to the lab for blind testing. This is how Trustified maintains fairness and transparency.
Whey Protein Test Ingredients Check: Claims Vs Reality
Before reaching the lab results, the team examined the ingredients. The brand claims the product contains 82% protein sourced purely from whey protein isolate. Most of the list looks normal. But one error grabbed attention. The ingredient list mentioned “natural sweeteners IS 955”. IS 955 is sucralose, which is an artificial sweetener. Calling it natural is MISLEADING.
This was the first red flag. But the real shock came from the lab numbers.
The 50% Gap In Quantity Shocks
This is where things take a serious turn. The brand claims 81.8% protein. But the lab found only 41.75% on a dry basis. That is almost half of what the company promises.
Per serving, the brand claims 27 grams of protein in a 33-gram scoop. But the report shows 13.78 grams (again, nearly 50% lower).
Carbohydrates showed a huge mismatch too. The brand claims 0.97 grams per serving. The test found 14.9 grams. That is not a small difference. For fats, the claim was 0.5 grams, but the test found 1.1 grams.
The product failed Level 1 testing by a large margin. Whenever a product fails this badly, Trustified always performs a retest. The second test confirmed the same results with low protein, high carbs and incorrect label claims.
Trustified categorised the product under the “Failed” section on their website. This viral whey protein test has now created a major discussion among fitness enthusiasts, especially those who rely on label claims without verification.
