On 18 February, Baba Ramdev was trending all over social media after sharing a viral video of himself racing against a horse and winning. In the video, the yoga guru credited his remarkable stamina to Patanjali's Swarn Shilajit, claiming it boosts energy, enhances immunity, and slows down ageing. However, tech millionaire Bryan Johnson, famous for his anti-ageing lifestyle, wasn’t convinced. He questioned Baba Ramdev’s claim, and according to him, the yoga guru has now blocked him.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bryan Johnson shared a screenshot of Baba Ramdev’s post and wrote, "I replied with this comment, and he hid it and blocked me: Air quality in Haridwar right now is PM₂.₅ 36 µg/m³, which is equal to smoking 1.6 cigarettes a day. This raises risks of heart disease by 40–50%, lung cancer by 3x, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and early death (5–7 years lost)."
According to Bryan Johnson, Baba Ramdev removed his comment and blocked him after the criticism.
Bryan Johnson’s Concerns Over India’s Air Quality
This isn’t the first time Bryan Johnson has raised concerns about India’s air quality. Recently, he appeared on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s podcast but left midway due to the poor air quality. Later, he took to X to share his concerns, revealing that despite using an air purifier, the indoor AQI was 130 with PM2.5 at 75 µg/m³, equivalent to smoking 3.4 cigarettes a day.
He further described how just three days in India left him with a skin rash, burning eyes, and throat irritation, reinforcing his views on air pollution’s impact on health.
