Suggesting on the correlation of egg yolks and cholesterol, the doctor says, “Yes, the yolks have cholesterol, around 180 to 200 mg, but for most people, they don’t raise blood cholesterol significantly.” In fact, the egg yolks contain vitamin D, vitamin B12, and choline, which are great for your heart health.

Egg Yolks vs Whites for Heart Patients: What Experts Say?

When it comes to eggs for heart health, the debate between egg whites and yolks has been ongoing. Experts generally recommend egg whites over yolks for heart patients, as they are cholesterol-free, fat-free, and packed with lean protein.
