Ram Charan, the Telugu actor, is known for his taste in better things in life, from his Aston Martin supercar to premium real estate. Apart from being the son of Chiranjeevi, the south Indian megastar, he is a well-known actor in his own right.

Ram Charan allegedly bought a new property in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills with his wife Upasana Kamineni and Chiranjeevi some time ago. The couple and their family have styled up this beautiful residence. The multi-crore Ram Charan House is beautifully manicured and stands on a large plot in the prestigious Jubilee Hills area. The paths are lined with trees and flowering flora. The primary features of Ram Charan's House are large balconies and historical and cultural décor.

Ram Charan allegedly paid more than Rs 30 crores for this dream mansion in Jubilee Hills, one of Hyderabad's most affluent neighbourhoods. He allegedly has a net worth of Rs 1,300 crores, and his film Rangasthala reportedly shattered Baahubali's box office records. Fans of both the father and son have nicknamed the new residence a mega palace. According to sources, the housewarming celebration was a costly event.

Here are some intriguing facts regarding Ram Charan's new Hyderabad home:

• Tahiliani Homes, located in Mumbai, developed the new mansion, which is around 25,000 square feet.
• With its historic heritage-inspired design combined with contemporary amenities, it resembles a modern-day palace.
• A room in the mansion features checkerboard flooring that looks like a chessboard, while another hall has jade-laced ceilings and walls.
• There is a subterranean mandir that resembles an antique stone temple.
• There are Hyderabadi traditional Nizami elements throughout the home.
• Ram Charan, his wife Upasana, and mother Surekha provided key input for this residence in Jubilee Hills, near the Dr MCR HRD Institute of Telangana.
• The new home is said to include its own swimming pool, tennis court, and gymnasium. The rooms are adorned with various lovely artworks.

The entire family is scheduled to relocate here from their old residence in Jubilee Hills, a sumptuous estate in its own right. However, it was thought that following the couple's marriage, greater room for the family was required, with future generations in mind. As a result, the decision was made to construct a new mega palace in the same area. Upasana is the granddaughter of Apollo Hospitals' executive chairman, Pratap C Reddy.

Tahiliani Homes is Tarun Tahiliani's architectural and interior design enterprise. His younger son, Jahan Tahiliani, noted that Indian contemporary aesthetics, as well as Indian artisanal touches, had been included into this mammoth home. He described how the interiors had been entirely rebuilt but the main façade remained untouched. The mansion has marble with inlay work, as well as designs and themes from around the country. The lighting, details, borders, brocades, and chandeliers all have handcrafted touches.

Tahiliani mentioned how Chiranjeevi enjoys the unique black and white room with chessboard-style flooring. The actor is a devotee of Lord Bajrangbali, and his favourite idol has a particular area in the basement shrine. There is plenty of room to sit and chant or meditate here. Jahan Tahiliani also emphasised the Jade room, which is the new bungalow's main talking point. Jade is a green decorative mineral that was considered an imperial gem by various ancient Chinese emperors who believed it would protect them from harm. Given that, the family is now extensively involved in film production and other businesses, this is an idea that has struck a chord with them.
